European Art Adventure
If you love to travel and capture memories in a meaningful way, join
Darla Bostick’s Art Adventure Abroad— no art experience required!
Together, we'll gather photographs, sketch, paint, and explore fun collage materials to create a personal art journal of the journey. It’s enjoyable, approachable, and a truly unique way to document your travels. We will incorporate special ideas for each page. As a gift for those attending, I wrote/published “Making an Art Journal…as You Travel—How-To Ideas by Darla Bostick,” packed with examples.
Each day includes creative prompts for photography and journaling, along with simple lessons in a variety of techniques. After returning to our home base, you’ll have time for relaxed instruction and hands-on creating. Whether you are an experienced artist, a beginner, or simply along for the adventure, all are welcome—including spouses and friends.
As a special bonus, our group has secured a $1,500 per person discount and complimentary gratuities for the second portion of the trip—a scenic river cruise along the Moselle and Rhine Rivers, with the opportunity to explore a new village each day.

Darla’s 21st Ghost Ranch UN-Traditional Watercolor Workshop/Retreat
offers a fresh, creative approach to watermedia.
Held October 18–24 at Ghost Ranch—made famous by Georgia O’Keeffe—this retreat combines artistic exploration with breathtaking surroundings. Optional excursions include visits to O’Keeffe’s home and studio in Abiquiú, as well as a guided landscape tour of the ranch where she lived and painted.
Lodging and meals are included, and if you need transportation, you are welcome to travel with me from Denton, Texas.
