A native Texan, Patricia is a self-taught artist who has been painting in oil and watercolor for the past thirty years. In recent years, she has participated in watercolor, oil and pastel workshops with many outstanding instructors. She is a board member of the Richardson Civic Art Society, Signature Member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society and has won many awards in various juried art shows. |

Since I was a little girl, drawing and painting has always been a part of my life. I was fortunate enough to have parents who encouraged me by supplying books and materials. I started out painting in oil, but in later years discovered the excitement of watercolor……….a totally different approach to painting for me! I have fallen in love with the medium………it takes more planning and thought, but produces the most unexpected and exciting results!
